Make the significant change in society by combating the stigma of mental disorders! Become a Local Coordinator in your region/country and organise the “Mind the Mind” campaign!?The EFPSA Social Impact Initiative (SII) is currently looking for Local Coordinators for the second wave of our campaign “Mind the Mind - to Combat the Stigma of Mental Disorders”.

We are looking for psychology students or graduates who have:

· experience with event organising

· effective communication

· social awareness

· social responsibility

By gathering a group of volunteers and implementing a meaningful campaign, YOU could help decrease stigma and social exclusion of people with mental disorders by raising awareness about presence and effects of stigma. Join the campaign and be one of the many psychology students around Europe who will make a change!

Within EFPSA, Social Impact refers to an initiative aiming to make use of psychological knowledge in order to make a significant positive impact on society. The team’s first project was the campaign “Mind the Mind - to Combat the Stigma of Mental Disorders.”.

We aim to raise awareness, educate and combat stereotypes surrounding mental health problems. Please check out the Position Paper for further details about EFPSA’s position and importance of this topic here. After finishing the first wave of the campaign, 19 European countries and countless number of satisfied psychology and high-school students involved are the evidence of the campaign’s success. The materials used from the first wave have since been reviewed and updated based on the feedback and suggestions

from everyone who took part in the campaign, meaning the second wave will have even greater impact on European society.

In order to achieve our goal, we are looking for Local Coordinators to help us facilitate the campaign all across Europe.
